Tips for the best headshot

Before your headshot session, consider a few key tips for the  best headshot possible!  First, wardrobe is everything!  What you wear for your headshot greatly affects the outcome.  Start with what you usually wear to work or to meet a client.  Ensure that it fits properly and isn’t too big or too tight.  If so, it’s worth the investment to buy something new that fits.  Next, ladies, please consider hair and makeup services.  A professional hair and makeup artist will have the perfect makeup application for studio lighting.  Don’t schedule a haircut and/or color the day before your session.  Rather, schedule a week or two in advance.  Finally, relax.  Yes, that’s a tip.  A genuine smile and expression outweighs everything else.  I will help with posing and expression so know that you’re not alone in front of the camera and won’t be left alone to figure it out.
