Professional Family Photography

Family photography is my first love.  When I first started my business in 2010, I focused on family photography.  I love everything about family photography – the kids running around, Dad trying to wrangle the children, and Mom trying to hold everyone together and keep them clean.  We worry about so many details when it doesn’t really matter.  You’ll never see that speck of dirt on Johnnie’s shoes because you won’t be able to get past the love and connection in your images.  You’ll forget about the chaos in the moments before you meet your photographer.  Because all that really matters is that you’re together, taking photos, and remembering this very moment in time.  Never again will the kids be this little.  Never again will your connections and the energy among you be exactly the same.  Capture these moments so that you can hold onto them forever!

The Phillips Family

The beautiful woman holding this family together is Roxana.  She is a super-talented, rock-star hair and makeup artist!  She is now running not only her hair and makeup business but also sells a line of cosmetics and is quite successful at that too!  We met a number of years ago and have been working together ever since.  I’m so glad that we took the opportunity to get her family on the other side of the lens.  Her husband is her rock and her support.  And her three kiddos are just precious!  I love the shot of them walking together – to me, it shows each of their personalities and the interactions among them.  Together.  Family.
