Generational Family Portraits
Sometimes, we have a rare opportunity in life to celebrate several generations within one family. Great grandparents, grandparents, children, and grandchildren. What a treasure to hold this beautiful moment in infinity. The ones who have come before us and provide is with that rich history of where we came from. The parents who still remember some of that history and have carried it forward to today. And then the new ones who will embrace the history and add their own memories that move the family into the future. What a gift to be surrounded by so much love!
The Hedderman Family
I had the wonderful opportunity of photographing the Hedderman family at their home. It was certainly a generational family portrait and the scenery was beautiful. We had four generations from great grandparents to the newest member who had just turned one. Wow, we got some fantastic shots including the entire family, couple photos, individual families, grandparents with grandchildren, great-grandparents with great-grandchildren, the kids by themselves. We even had the chance to photograph the little one with her adorable birthday outfit!
