First Holy Communion | Houston Event Photographer

I met the Gama family at the church following her First Holy Communion. We took photos with the family and priest and her friends. What a momentous occasion for all of the families. Then we went to Mercer Arboretum for more photos. I absolutely love the close-up shots of her. Every gorgeous detail: those lashes, her jewelry, the praying hands. A girl and her faith, we celebrate.

I love this first shot with Mom. She’s telling her daughter how proud she is of her…a moment that she will carry with her for the rest of her life. I’m honored to witness it.
