Family Portrait Session with Little Ones
The family portrait session deserves planning and attention but it doesn’t need to be stressful! It takes time to plan outfits and schedule a session with the photographer. If you have little ones in the family, it’s also a good idea to plan the session around nap and cranky times if possible. Please feel free to bring snacks and we can take breaks as often as needed for little ones to be comfortable. I want the entire family to enjoy the session!
Know that a family portrait session with little ones can have unexpected ups and downs. And that’s perfectly okay. We will roll with those and handle any down times with distraction and play. Sometimes those in-between moments are the precious gems that make the session. Life is messy. As long as we don’t expect perfection, we will document the beautiful, messy chaos that is our lives. It is true and real and beautiful.
Photo Session with The Stone Family
The Stone family arrived at their session on a cold day in November. Everyone was perfectly dressed down to the baby’s tights and matching shoes! Within the first few minutes of the session, she fell and got her white tights muddy and was surprised at having fallen. After a few tears, though, we were back up and running. Mom and Dad might have thought that all was lost but we captured some fantastic images of the family. We even got a few smiles through it all. So don’t worry about the ups and downs. We will document your family in all of it’s beautiful messiness and likely get some shots that are truly priceless.
