Family Portrait Sessions with Fur Babies

Pets are a part of our families!  Many families choose to have their family portrait sessions with their fur babies.  I’ve had great results with families with older kids and their pets.  Everyone is set and ready to go for the family portrait and the dogs are just part of the family.  They sit and smile just like their humans!  For me, the reason for the annual family portrait is to document the way that our family looks right now at this moment.  Sometimes with crazy hair and wrinkled skirts.  Sometimes perfectly proper and arranged.  It’s all beautiful.  The way that your family looks right now may include a fur baby.  If you feel comfortable with it, feel free to bring them along for the family portrait session.  Just give me a little notice so that I can bring my purple hippo squeeky toy!

The Maples Family Portraits

I met the Maples family in the park for their family portraits.  They let me know that they would be bringing their two dogs along.  Great!  We got all set up for our first pose with Mom, Dad, and the boys all in their spots.  Then we placed the dogs and I called for them to look at me.  Perfection – sit, stay, and smile!  The family was amazed at how well they did with the family portrait.  We also got some cute shots of the boys with the dogs.
