Executive Headshot

An executive headshot is an important part of many businesses. It may not be necessary or practical to have headshots for all of the company staff. However, the leadership of your firm should have a headshot on the website. These leadership headshots should be uniform, professional headshots that display cohesion, professionalism, and confidence. The website may be the first place that your clients, patients, and partners interact with your business. A professional first impression is a huge win and gets the relationship off to a great start – even before you meet in person!

With Tara Flannery Photography, it’s an easy, quick corporate session that can create these executive headshots. Once I set up and test my equipment, I’m ready to roll and an executive may only need to take 5 minutes out of his or her day to get a headshot done. Using the same lighting and background, these headshots are used on the website and for in-house materials. Let’s talk about men’s ties in headshots 👇🏻

It’s one of the most common questions I get before a headshot:
“Should I wear the red one… or the blue one?”

The truth is, your tie isn’t about preference—it’s about how it looks on camera.

What works best:
✅ Solid colors or subtle patterns
✅ Navy, burgundy, or charcoal tones
✅ A clean, standard width
✅ A slight texture (not too shiny, not too flat)

What to avoid:
❌ Loud prints
❌ Large patterns
❌ Anything that pulls attention away from your face

And one thing most people don’t think about…
👉🏻 your tie can also reflect your brand or company colors

The goal isn’t to stand out—it’s to look polished, confident, and professional.

What started as “just headshots”… turned into a full library of content.

Natalie and her husband, Rich, came to me as they were launching their new practice, Comprehensive Medical Specialists of Texas. Initially, they were looking for updated headshots and a group photo.

But as we started planning, we expanded the vision—creating not only individual headshots, but multiple group images and photos of their office space.
