Corporate Headshot Sessions
It’s a great idea to offer headshots for your corporate staff. Headshots are tangible benefit for employees and the end result is a consistent, professional look for your team. That look translates into trust and loyalty with clients. Whether you prefer a more formal look or casual, the corporate headshot session can be designed to suit your company brand and aesthetic. Consider the following when planning your corporate session:
- Consider how these headshots will be used (website, email, marketing pieces, social media, etc.)
- Determine general aesthetic (formal, casual, studio, environmental)
- Create a list of people included
- Communicate a recommendation for what-to-wear (with photographer’s help)
- Ask staff to sign up for a time slot for the most efficient session
Staff Headshots
First, for the staff at Rice University, we used the brand new office as the background for our headshots. It was a great option and created warmth and dimension to an otherwise static image. I absolutely love how they turned out! At TransAct Title, we used a clean white background and then dropped in a virtual background in post. Then, Snipp Realty used a white background for a clean consistent and modern look. Finally, for Strike in The Woodlands, we use a simple grey background that creates a consistent contemporary headshot for all employees. The benefit of using a solid background is that it never changes so the headshots will be consistent no matter when the employee is photographed.
