Headshot Portrait

The headshot portrait is an essential tool in today’s digital marketplace.  It is something that should be carefully crafted with proper lighting, posing, wardrobe and expression.  Only by executing these variables can you visually portray your true self and thus, the face of your resume, brand, or company.  Take the time to invest in a quality and qualified headshot photographer!  View the photographer’s portfolio and decide if the style fits you.  If it does, contact the photographer and have a conversation about what it is that you want to convey in your headshot.  It’s so much more than just a picture of your head and shoulders!  Take the opportunity to create something beautiful, genuine, and appropriate for the task at hand.

Corporate Headshot Updates

I love seeing new team members for companies that I have photographed in the past.  It means their business is doing well and hiring folks.  It means that I get to meet someone new and also welcome them into the company, as if I worked there myself.  This week, I had the opportunity to photograph a couple of new team members for companies that I had previously photographed.  Because I took the original team members’ portraits, these new headshots will blend seamlessly into the mix.  These examples also show that different companies have different needs.  The type of company, what product or service they provide, and the corporate culture will all play a role in what the headshots look like.  The final images are a new startup firm and all three executives joined for the photo session.  Perfection!
