Why take family photos?

As The Woodlands family photographer, I know that you’re busy. We are all busy! Our activities like soccer practice, ballet recitals, dates with friends and family and work and dry cleaning manage every minute of our days. But these days will not come again. The Whipple Family

Jackie contacted me about family portraits and we set a date. We met at the park and had a great time exploring and finding spots for photos! I’ve been to this park many times and we found a new spot that was absolutely beautiful. At one point during the session, I stopped them and said “just be family”. I wanted them to talk, tickle each other, laugh and just do what it is that makes them family. These are the best moments! I love a posed family shot with everyone looking at the camera and smiling. But those in-between glances and smiles are the ones that make my heart melt. When we stopped, Addy decided that it was best to give brother all kinds of kisses. Hand kisses and forehead kisses are the best from your big sister! Priceless.
