Woodlands Corporate Headshot

The Woodlands Corporate Headshot is a specialty for Tara Flannery Photography. I love to shoot headshots in studio, on-location, and outdoors. The headshot consultation involves discussing the type of session and the location for your headshot. Sometimes a studio shot is best with a solid background and studio lighting. A natural light image with background is also available in my studio session. Another option for the corporate headshot is to have an on-location shoot so the entire team or company can get a headshot. This is a fantastic option for companies that need a uniform look. For a more relaxed yet corporate look, an outdoor session can be a great alternative. Racca Solutions

I have photographed Racca Solutions for years. We started with a plain black backdrop and studio lighting years ago. Even now, new employees can get a headshot with the same black background and the headshots look uniform for the website and marketing materials. Staff headshots are a great addition to your company website. Contrary to the corporate group photo, headshots can be added and removed as new employees come on board and other employees move on. Racca Solutions has made the corporate headshot part of their on-boarding process. A headshot session is one of the first things new employees do when they are hired. This ensures that everyone has a current headshot and the website and marketing materials are up-to-date.

If you’re just starting a photography business… you need to watch this.

I recently showed up to a headshot session at an office building with all my gear—ready to go—and security wouldn’t let me in.

Not because anything was wrong… but because there was a miscommunication, and I didn’t have a certificate of insurance on file with the building.

It’s one of those things you don’t think about when you’re first starting out—but it matters.

As you grow and start booking more corporate or on-location sessions, these small admin details become part of the job.

Clear communication with your client (or their admin team) ahead of time can save you a lot of stress on shoot day.

One of the biggest things I hear from senior guys is:
“I don’t know how to pose…”

And honestly—you don’t need to.

That’s my job.

Most of the poses you see here are simple, natural, and just small adjustments that make a big difference on camera. The goal isn’t to feel stiff or over-posed—it’s to look like yourself, just a little more confident.

I’ll guide you through everything during your session so it feels easy and relaxed the entire time.

Senior year is coming up quickly, and sessions start filling up once the school year gets going.
