Time to Update Your Headshot
Is it time to update your headshot? Probably. If it’s been more than a year or two since your last headshot, it’s time to update your headshot. If you’ve had any major changes like weight loss or changes to hair style or color, it’s time to update your headshot. The importance of a current headshot cannot be understated. If your headshot is on your company website, that means potential customers, friends, or partners have seen your headshot. They should know whom to expect when they meet you in person. I recently went to a group meeting for photographers in The Woodlands. Several new members of the group would be in attendance but because I was speaking and my headshot was on the invitation, they immediately knew who I was when they walked in. They felt comfortable knowing that they were in the right place with the right group of people.
New Headshots for Marilynn
Marilynn has her own jewelry business. The business website displays her headshot. When she conducts business, customers know exactly who they are interacting with. Marilynn’s headshot was a little outdated and she wanted something new and fresh for her business. I just love her Fall colors and the jewelry that she sells is prominently displayed in her headshot (perfect!). After reviewing the images, she said that the headshot very well represents this season of her life. I like that! We are all in different seasons of our lives.
