Senior Picture Poses

Seniors have lots of options for portraits during this final year of high school. Gone are the days of having only one option for the yearbook photo. Now, most high school seniors hire a photographer for a senior portrait session. At Tara Flannery Photography, we love these sessions! We start with a consultation to discuss wardrobe options: bring several so that we have different looks from formal to casual. Next, we discuss location. Where are some places that you enjoy or that have meaning for you. Maybe it’s the tennis courts or the football stadium or just your cello. Finally, we will plan for the final end goals for the senior portraits. After the consultation, we meet at our location for the session. Here’s where we get to have fun! Usually Mom comes along for help with wardrobe and styling. Senior poses can include everything from serious or formal to playful and relaxed. Usually we get a mix of everything in between. As the session goes along, we experiment with different poses and find the ones that fit you!

Senior Portraits with Haley

My senior session with Haley was such a blast! We met for our consultation and she immediately loved some of the images with the tall grass. So we chose a spot where we could find the grass! During our session, Haley was a master at posing and tried different things as we went along. She changed clothes and we changed locations and got a ton of different looks. We loved so many that it was hard to narrow them down. All my best, Haley, on your way to my alma mater…you’ll love it! Go Bears!
