Professional Headshots

A professional headshot begins with researching photographers in your area.  First, find a professional photographer (it’s best if they are a Certified Professional Photographer with PPA).  CPP photographers have exhibited technical proficiency through a written exam and image submission.  Also, ensure that your photographer specializes in headshots.  These photographers will have the lighting, posing, tools, and experience to create the best headshot for you.  Then, talk to your photographer about the end goals for your headshot.  Will this be for a publication, website, business card, social media, or other use?  Do you have certain backgrounds or colors that you prefer?  Make a plan with your photographer and be sure to know the specifics of the session before you get there (how many wardrobe changes are allowed and how much time will be allowed for the session).  Finally, relax and have fun with your session!

Headshots for Amber

Amber came into the studio for hair and makeup with Roxana before her headshot session.  They chatted, laughed and giggled while getting hair and makeup done!  Then, we started the headshot session and were off to a fantastic start with her amazing makeup and loose beach waves in her hair.  So perfect!  Amber had a couple of different options for wardrobe.  Using the same background, we swapped outfits and got several different looks.  These are two of her final four selections.  The final headshots are super polished and professional and I can’t wait to see all of her new adventures in her realty business.  All my best Amber!
