Family portraits are so important. They are what we cling to in crisis and what we look at to remember a special moment in time. The hair cut, the smile, and that outfit. All of these things are precious memories of our loved ones.
Grandparents have a special bond with their grandchildren. There are fewer rules with grandparents and unconditional love abounds. Lisa wanted to surprise her husband for Father’s Day with a photo session of the grandkids. I was so excited to hear that! She planned their outfits and made sure they were clean and ready for portrait day. Although the surprise didn’t last (she had to let him in on the secret), we got some beautiful shots of the grandkids in the studio and then at the park. The kids and I had fun hanging out. The resulting images are just gorgeous…a treasure for Grandpa for many years to come.
