How to Rock Your Teen Photo Session
Similar to senior sessions, teen sessions are so much fun! Bring your mom, some wardrobe options, and props and let’s have a great time! Let’s talk about outfits and locations that will make the session special for you. What do you like to do? What are your hobbies? Here are a few tips to rock your teen session:
- Location: is there a special place that has meaning for you? The location will provide a great background for your photos.
- Outfits: plan for 2-3 outfits for the session. Maybe plan on something more dressy or formal and then something fashionable and fun, and then a final outfit that is casual
- Props: do you have hobbies or things that you love? Bring props along to the session if you can and that will help personalize the images. This is all about you so embrace it!
Session with Parker
My daughter used to ride with Parker at Saddlebrook Equestrian Center. We got to know Parker and her mom through many nights of lessons, sometimes standing in the freezing cold talking about warm soup recipes! Her session was so much fun for us because we were able to use Saddlebrook as the location for her portraits. Her horse Gidget was really hot but she was able to make her appearance. I love the shots of Parker with Gidget! So very sweet. And the barn provided some gorgeous light coming through an opening. Then as the sun was setting, we captured some fantastic final frames! What a great time, Parker. Thanks for rocking your teen photo session!
