NCL Senior Presentation | Houston National Charity League

From the candy bar to the table decorations to the carefully planned speeches, every detail of this special night was immaculately planned and executed.  A beautiful evening to celebrate the graduating seniors of the Champions Chapter of NCL.

National Charity League, Inc. (NCL, Inc.) is a non-profit national organization of mother and daughter members in Chapters across the United States. National Charity League was established in 1925, when a group of women founded the organization in Los Angeles. They supported the American Red Cross by making layettes and assembling food baskets for the hungry during the holidays. The women engaged their daughters and by 1938, the daughters formed their own group.

In 1947, all groups united to become the nation’s first mother-daughter charity. National Charity League expanded its program beyond philanthropic work to include educational and cultural activities. National Charity League was reorganized and incorporated in 1958 to become National Charity League, Inc.

The mission of NCL, Inc. is to foster mother-daughter relationships in a philanthropic organization committed to community service, leadership development and cultural experiences.  Through the mother-daughter relationship, National Charity League, Inc. will develop strong women leaders serving and impacting communities today and for generations to come.

I’m so glad I had the opportunity to get to know these women – each of them beautiful, courageous, and confident in their own individual ways.  To find out more about the National Charity League in your area, visit the website here: National Charity League

Here’s what I would say…

If you're wondering whether you should reschedule your headshot session, here's the breakdown:

✨ DO reschedule if:

You're feeling under the weather 🤧 (no one wants to spread germs or push through when you're not at your best)

You have a facial rash, skin peeling, or excessive puffiness that affects your overall comfort and confidence

🚫 DON’T stress or reschedule for:

A shaving nick
A breakout or blemish
Puffy eyes or dark circles
Forehead lines or wrinkles
Cold sores or minor irritation

🧼 I’ve got you covered when it comes to light retouching—my editing style enhances without overdoing it. You’ll still look like YOU, just the best version.

📸 Now, let’s talk prep:

✔️ Men: Schedule a haircut a few days before your session (not the day-of!)

✔️ Ladies: Make sure your hair is cut, colored, and styled—I’ve got hair + makeup covered for Executive Headshots if you want to take the stress off!

✔️ Wardrobe: Try on your outfit ahead of time—fit and comfort are key

✔️ Night before: Get a good night’s sleep & hydrate for that natural glow

✨ The best part? We go over ALL of this during your consultation. I’ll guide you every step of the way so you feel fully prepared and confident going into your session.

2025 graduates, read this 👇🏼

Imagine this: It’s senior year. You’re flipping through the yearbook, and when you get to your page… there’s no senior pic. Just your name. In plain text. Tragic. 😭

Or worse—your mom has a big empty spot on her wall where your iconic senior portrait should be. Do you really want your little siblings to have better pics than you? Be so for real. 👀

Good news? It’s not too late! Spring is the perfect time for senior portraits, and I’ve got spots open just for you. Let’s make sure you graduate with photos you actually love.
