Kids Pictures

They grow up so fast. One minute they’re learning to walk and it seems like the very next minute they are learning to drive. A little time goes by in between with school and soccer practice, ballet, and choir. We get so busy living life that we don’t see our kids growing up before our eyes! Let’s make sure that you have the kids pictures along the way so that when they hit that next milestone, you’ll be ready. You’ll be ready because you can look back and see all of the beautiful photos as they grew and changed even from one year to the next. You will have honored every stage of their lives by showing them in pictures.

Pictures with the Cox Family

The family portrait session with the Cox Family just included the kids this year! The boys were great at posing and laughing and having a good time with each other. They were so natural and could just be brothers hanging out together. It’s so great when kids pose themselves and all I have to do is capture it. That’s what happened in the first photo of them together – they sat down on my bench like that, perfection. The family now has a portrait for the walls, the grandparents and the holiday card, ahead of schedule! Oh you should see how the holiday card compliments the boys shirts – it looks fantastic!

Let’s talk about men’s ties in headshots 👇🏻

It’s one of the most common questions I get before a headshot:
“Should I wear the red one… or the blue one?”

The truth is, your tie isn’t about preference—it’s about how it looks on camera.

What works best:
✅ Solid colors or subtle patterns
✅ Navy, burgundy, or charcoal tones
✅ A clean, standard width
✅ A slight texture (not too shiny, not too flat)

What to avoid:
❌ Loud prints
❌ Large patterns
❌ Anything that pulls attention away from your face

And one thing most people don’t think about…
👉🏻 your tie can also reflect your brand or company colors

The goal isn’t to stand out—it’s to look polished, confident, and professional.

What started as “just headshots”… turned into a full library of content.

Natalie and her husband, Rich, came to me as they were launching their new practice, Comprehensive Medical Specialists of Texas. Initially, they were looking for updated headshots and a group photo.

But as we started planning, we expanded the vision—creating not only individual headshots, but multiple group images and photos of their office space.
