Group Photos

It’s a great idea to show your team together on your website and in marketing materials.  However, a group photo can be a little tricky.  First, coordinating schedules can be difficult.  Sometimes, the schedule is the hardest part of a headshot or group photo session.  Even if you have everyone on the same day, getting them at the exact same time for a group photo is even harder.  Second, team changes can make a group photo quickly out-of-date.  It seems that as soon as you take a group photo, someone leaves or a new person is added to the team.  Finally, finding a location and space that accommodates a group photo may be a challenge.  You end up going outside the building to play in the traffic.

Composite Group

A composite team photo is a better alternative to the group photo.  During a headshot session, we can take several extra images for each person at different angles.  Those extra images are combined create a composite image in post-production.  This solution eliminates all of the problems that the group photo presents.  First, we photograph each person individually, at a convenient time.  Next, team members can be added or subtracted as needed.  And finally, there’s no need for a large space where everyone gathers at one time.
