Business Headshots

Good business headshots require some thought and preparation.  Here are a few things to consider when preparing for a business headshot session.

First, search for a photographer that specializes in headshots.  Not all photographers specialize in them and it makes a difference.  Visit websites and review the portfolio of headshot images.  Does the photographer display the kind and style of headshot that you want for your business and brand?

Next, consider the location and background for the headshots.  At Tara Flannery Photography, we provide headshots on-location or in-studio.  Do you want the standard grey studio background? Would you prefer an environmental portrait that tells a little bit more about your business?

Finally, discuss timing and wardrobe with your photographer.  I like to have ample time with my clients so that we get a variety of headshot images.  Many clients bring a couple of wardrobe options for the studio session and we customize the flow based on the wardrobe choices.

Racca Solutions Group is a long-standing client of mine.  I first photographed headshots for the team leadership in their home.  Now they have an office in The Woodlands and continue to add new members to the team.  The black background is classic and stands the test of time.  A little bit of a kicker light helps to separate the subject from the background without being obvious.  I love Lionel’s new headshot and am so glad he joined the team at Racca Solutions.  His headshot joins the rest of the team for a seamless and professional look.
