Family Photo

Photographs are an integral part of the history and story of our families. This paper holds the beauty of our connections and the love that we share among the family. It is a treasure to document the way that we look and laugh and interact with each other. For many years and generations, the story of that day can be told and explained and relived. Our children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren will understand who they are and where they came from. Make sure your family is captured in a family photo this year! Family Portraits for the Selinidis Family

Dee and her daughter-in-law inquired about an extended family photo session. We discussed the details and had an in-person consultation. They told me the story – all of the children and grandchildren and the pieces of their lives. I was able to see the joy and love in this family long before I ever met them in person. The family gathered together for this very special session and we had lots of fun with posed family portraits, silly string, the kitchen, and the garden. We all had a great time and there was lots of laughter! I’m so thrilled that Dee and her family will have these memories to look back on for years to come.

If you’re just starting a photography business… you need to watch this.

I recently showed up to a headshot session at an office building with all my gear—ready to go—and security wouldn’t let me in.

Not because anything was wrong… but because there was a miscommunication, and I didn’t have a certificate of insurance on file with the building.

It’s one of those things you don’t think about when you’re first starting out—but it matters.

As you grow and start booking more corporate or on-location sessions, these small admin details become part of the job.

Clear communication with your client (or their admin team) ahead of time can save you a lot of stress on shoot day.
