Corporate Events

Corporate events are a fun part of my job! I absolutely love them. I will beautifully capture all of the tiny details that you have meticulously planned for the event – whether it’s decorations, food, party favors, or entertainment. Then I’ll mingle with guests and get posed photos and capture any candid moments along the way as well. Have an award to give out like salesperson of the year? Just give me a sign and I’ll be ready to go for that picture-perfect moment. Having a professional photographer for your corporate event is a great idea. Guests get to relive the party afterwards through the photographs.

GHD Holiday Party at Sam Houston Race Park

For the second year, GHD has invited me to photograph their holiday party in January. They postpone the holiday party for race season at Sam Houston Race Park. This year, not only did we get to see the horse races but there were also ostrich races and camel races. Those were a big hit with the crowd – lots of cell phone videos going during those races. Guests enjoyed appetizers, dinner, and desserts and had an opportunity to have their caricature made. The caricature artists is truly talented and there is always a line at his station. Check out Jody The Artist. Finally, the door prizes are the best event of the night. Everyone looks forward to the big prizes at the end of the night. I so enjoy photographing this corporate event and I hope to see them again next year!

If you’re just starting a photography business… you need to watch this.

I recently showed up to a headshot session at an office building with all my gear—ready to go—and security wouldn’t let me in.

Not because anything was wrong… but because there was a miscommunication, and I didn’t have a certificate of insurance on file with the building.

It’s one of those things you don’t think about when you’re first starting out—but it matters.

As you grow and start booking more corporate or on-location sessions, these small admin details become part of the job.

Clear communication with your client (or their admin team) ahead of time can save you a lot of stress on shoot day.

One of the biggest things I hear from senior guys is:
“I don’t know how to pose…”

And honestly—you don’t need to.

That’s my job.

Most of the poses you see here are simple, natural, and just small adjustments that make a big difference on camera. The goal isn’t to feel stiff or over-posed—it’s to look like yourself, just a little more confident.

I’ll guide you through everything during your session so it feels easy and relaxed the entire time.

Senior year is coming up quickly, and sessions start filling up once the school year gets going.

The goal isn’t to have more gear—it’s to have the right gear for how you actually shoot.
