Branding Images for Authors

Many authors need photography for websites, promotional materials, and social media in anticipation of a book launch.  Imagery can be a powerful tool for telling the story before you “tell the story”.  It helps to draw the audience in and get them excited about what is to come in the book.  First, consider your audience and the nature of the story.  Use those things to select location, wardrobe, and props to help.  Make a plan for images with your photographer.  Then, relax and have fun during your photography session – this will show your authentic, true self to your audience.  Finally, enjoy the success of the imagery, marketing, and book launch with a cohesive message.

Session with Jenny

Jenny had her hair and makeup done and then we had a fantastic time with headshots and branding images.  She’s launching a new book and needed some photography for promotion purposes.  I love that she incorporated her book into some of the images.  It’s so personal and authentic!
