Best Headshots
The best headshots come from the combination of a few key ingredients. A well-rested, relaxed subject will be the best candidate for a successful headshot. A professional headshot photographer will provide the best lighting and posing for you. Poses will depend slightly from industry to industry. Generally, though, a headshot should be a warm and friendly introduction to YOU! A slight bend forward at the waist and a straight look into the camera will create this type of headshot. Think of your headshot as though you are meeting someone for the first time. You lean in toward them, reach out your hand to greet them, and smile and say hello. That’s exactly what you are doing in a headshot.
Headshot for Tom
Tom needed an updated headshot for an award publication for his high school. With a pressed suit, he was ready for his headshot. We tried a couple of different backgrounds during his headshot session and he chose two different backgrounds for his final images for variety. I always recommend a white clean background for LinkedIn and mostly white websites. The headshot on these sites appears with no obstructions – clean. For Joe’s publication, either white or gray background would be fine. His high school buddies will see a professional headshot alongside his award. Fantastic!
