Actor and modeling headshots
An important first step to any acting or modeling career is to get headshots. For actors, it’s a good idea to have a few options for headshots depending on the characters you’d like to play. For example, consider a few of these examples:
- Serious – we use a darker background and clothing and a more somber or serious expression. This conveys drama.
- Shy/Sinister – we use the same darker background and clothing. The expression takes on a smirk or other expression to hide true intentions.
- Happy – we use a lighter background and clothing and maybe even a top in a solid, vibrant color. Expression and character are happy.
- Silly, fun, crazy – we use the same background and clothing options but a super big smile or laugh to convey over-the-top joy.
