Corporate Staff Photos

Service-based businesses often have office staff that interact regularly with clients, customers, and patients.  Your staff creates and nurtures relationships with your customers – providing the excellent service that they love.  Make sure that your website features your staff!  Whether it’s individual headshots of each staff member or a group photo for each area, these employees are a critical component to your business success.  People do business with people.  And the people in your office are the face of your business too.

Spring Creek Dentistry

I have photographed the doctors at Spring Creek Dentistry on a number of occasions.  The purpose of my most recent visit was to capture staff photos.  Because Spring Creek Dentistry understands the importance of these employees, the company wanted to have group photos of each area.  So we took group photos of the front office staff, hygienists, and assistants.  We also got a group shot with all of the staff.  These photos will make a great addition to the website and marketing materials.  These ladies are a most important part of the success of the business and a vital connection to its patients.  Well done, Spring Creek Dentistry!  I look forward to more photo sessions in the future with doctors and staff!

Shooting outdoors doesn’t always mean “perfect lighting.” 👇🏻

One of the biggest challenges with natural light is inconsistency—
skin tones can shift depending on shade, surroundings, and even reflections (hello green grass 👀).

That’s why I use off-camera flash, even outside.

It helps create:
✅ consistent skin tones
✅ balanced lighting
✅ a cleaner, more polished final image

So instead of guessing what the light is doing…
I’m controlling it.

You don’t need the most expensive gear to be a good photographer.

When I first started, I thought I needed everything—top-tier camera, expensive lighting, all of it.

The reality?

A solid camera and a good lens will take you a long way.

If you’re just starting out, keep it simple:
✨ A versatile zoom lens (24–70mm or 70–200mm)
✨ Gear you can rely on and learn inside and out

And when it comes to lighting—especially outdoors—don’t overinvest too early.

Wind happens. Gear gets knocked over. Things break.

Light is light.

Focus on learning how to use what you have before worrying about upgrading everything.
