Headshots for Work

Work headshots are the most common use for headshot photography, aside from actors and models.  Business professional headshots are used more and more on company websites and social media.  The headshot is your first opportunity to meet potential clients and customers.  Why risk that with a mediocre headshot or no headshot at all?  People do business with people.  If your clients can become familiar with you before even meeting you in person, they will inevitably feel more comfortable and confident in your abilities.  Studies show that familiarity breeds confidence.  So create a professional, amazing headshot and go get those clients!

Mary’s New Headshot

Mary needed a new headshot for a press release for her company.  She had a tight deadline.  With a quick studio session for her headshot, we were able to create a couple of amazing headshots.  She chose one during the session so that I could edit it quickly and get it to her.  She was able to beat the deadline for the company – always a great thing!

For women:

❌ Skip the sleeveless tops—your arms will compete with your face for attention

✅ A sleeve (even short) helps keep the focus where it belongs—on YOU

2️⃣ Too Far – If we can’t clearly see your face, we lose the connection instantly.

3️⃣ Wrong Shape for the Platform – That rectangle you uploaded to LinkedIn? It just became a circle... and cut off half your head.
