How environment affects your headshot
The location of your headshot affects the overall look and feel of the image! Consider these different locations before your next headshot session:
Outdoors: an outdoor headshot lends a more casual feel to the image. It can still be professional and polished but is more relaxed and open. Be sure to consider wardrobe when doing an outdoor session (casual attire will take the headshot in an even more casual direction while a suit jacket keeps it more formal).
Environmental: we can use the office as background for your next headshot session. For these sessions, it is critical to find the right location in the office to provide an interesting background with light and shape. Leave a little extra time with your photographer to investigate and test out different areas in the office that might be a good location.
Studio: the major benefit of a studio headshot is it’s repeatability. We can provide studio headshots in our studio or in your office and the outcome will be consistent. If you are photographing the entire company or team, these are a good choice because we can add new people as they onboard with no problems.
